El pasado 2 y 3 de noviembre tuvimos el placer de tener en nuestro centro de capacitación en Puerto Rico a un grupo diverso de clientes provenientes de Centro América, Colombia y la Republica Dominicana. El propósito de esta visita fue la capacitación en los Sistemas VRF Midea la cual da la oportunidad a nuestros clientes de conocer más afondo nuestros sistemas Midea VRF, la actualización de su software, aprender sobre los diagnósticos y códigos de error, como evitar errores de instalación, ajustes de arranque y mucho más.

On May 19, 2022, Oldach Trading welcomed our partners from the Caribbean for a Midea VRF tranning.

Among them we had the following places participating: Turks & Caicos, St. Kitts, Cayman Islands, Aruba, Dominica, Virgin Gorda, St. Croix, and St. Marteen.

Twenty-six professionals in the air conditioning industry from the Caribbean, Central and South America participated in the “Midea, VRF Systems” seminar. A two-day technical seminar, held from February 21 to 22 at the new Oldach Training Center.

“Oldach Trading prepared for a select group of clients, from six countries: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador; a dynamic academic agenda and very practical fundamental knowledge, which undoubtedly reinforced the skills of the participants in the proper installation of VRF systems” commented Engineer Ramón Junco, Vice President of the Oldach Trading division and host of the event.

The first day of the educational day began with a presentation on the history and successful development of Oldach Associates LLC and its divisions; followed by the presentation of the group of people that make up the work team of both divisions. The president of Oldach, Engineer Felix Campos, addressed a few words of welcome to the participants, and then left Mr. Junco with the presentation of the air conditioner product line of his exclusive brand, Midea.

The academic agenda included five modules aimed at VRF systems. Some of the topics presented were: VRF selection program with and without AHRI, installation, operation and diagnosis, systems with AHU-Kit, centralized control systems and recommended maintenance practices.

The day culminated with a dinner, where our guests enjoyed a buffet of Spanish and Puerto Rican fusion food. There, each guest was given several gifts by Oldach and Midea CAC.

During the last day of the seminar, the leader of the technical department for VRF systems, Mr. José Mussenden, officially presented the Midea technical training area, where he showed the installation and operation of the VRF system in the commercial equipment showroom. in the facilities.

The inauguration of the Oldach-Midea Training center demonstrates the interest of the brand and our commercial partners in technology; since their knowledge brings better and bigger businesses” – Engineer Alfredo Díaz, Market Development Manager.

During the closing of the event, Mr. Brian Liu, Caribbean area manager for Midea Comercial, who visited us directly from China for this event, addressed the participants and was part of the certificate presentation. Each guest was certified to have participated in the training, for a total of eighteen hours.

“This event marks a presence, since it brought together our main allies in the region, consolidating not only the technical knowledge in our flagship product but also strengthening our commercial relationships,” commented engineer John Vivas, HVAC Commercial Sales Manager in Colombia.

In addition, this event officially inaugurates the Oldach Training Center, located in San Juan. This center has two technical training rooms, one of them aimed at the leading brand in air conditioners, Midea, and three seminar rooms with capacity for over one hundred and fifty people.
