San José, Costa Rica – Over one hundred professionals in the country’s air conditioner industry met on July 23 and 24 to learn about the light commercial products of the MIDEA brand, through two seminars presented by Oldach Trading , LLC and carried out with the collaboration of clients in the Central American country.
Both seminars were presented by the work team that makes up Oldach Trading; engineer José Mussenden, who is the leader of the technical department for VRF and engineer Alfredo Díaz, Market Development Manager at Oldach Trading.
The first seminar titled, “Midea Commercial Light, Installation and Operation – 18 SEER” was held in collaboration with Climafrio, S.A. and was attended by over eighty HVAC industry professionals, mostly technicians. These participants enjoyed a presentation focused on Midea light commercial products, specifically, on the installation, operation and maintenance of systems with 18 SEER efficiency inverter vertical discharge condenser. This condenser has the advantage of being able to work with evaporators that work with a 24V control. The talk detailed the details for its correct installation and fault detection.
“Interest, hunger to learn and to apply what was learned was what I could see among the participants. There were many questions asked, which demonstrates the interest in Midea and Oldach. On the other hand, in this presentation we dedicate a space to guide on the manufacturing and production of Midea equipment. This was something very meaningful to them, since they received guidance directly from the brand representative and it helped us clarify details about its manufacturing in China,” said engineer José Mussenden.
On Wednesday, July 24, a seminar was held in collaboration with Clima 2,000 CR S.A. The seminar entitled: “Installation, Startup and Operation of Midea VRF systems” was presented to a group of twenty HVAC professionals. Subsequently, the characteristics of the systems available in Midea and how the selection program is used were presented. Guides were provided for the proper installation of these systems and their putting into operation.

It encourages us to continue providing these training courses to companies and their technicians, which “They favor and want to implement high efficiency systems” – mentioned engineer Alfredo Díaz, about the seminars offered in the month of July.
